The end of domain applications?

Hmm,… Trapping a universal reasoning engine inside a legacy application reveals a good deal of absurdity.

A model is a substrate of pure thought, isn’t it? Yet we cage it inside domain software – forcing a general intelligence to perceive nothing beyond pixels or tickets. We build silos within silos, only to drown in the noise of point-to-point API fiddling.

While intelligence is dumbed down, human experts are degraded into manual middleware –wasting cognitive talent simply to bridge context gaps between isolated tools.

Agentic AI poses a fundamental question now:

Is this the end of domain applications as such?
